Vegetarianism
The Hoffman et al article was a very targeted audience so I would be curious to see what a more general audience would reveal in terms of a wider age range and a wider range of socioeconomic statuses. Using the internet is risky because the people who are being targeted are most likely more influenced by health "fads" and "trends." It also did not take into account consumer behavior which would have been interesting. Where you live plays a big part of how and what you can purchase so it would be interesting to compare how vegetarianism differs regionally. Do some people do it strictly because it is cheaper? Do some people do it because it is only what is available?
